Breakfast on the Farm

Rolling Forks hosts Minnesota Farm Bureau’s annual Breakfast on the Farm

Rolling Forks hosted the Minnesota Farm Bureau’s annual Breakfast on the Farm event during Labor Day weekend. This is the Bureau’s fourth annual event that brings the public together with the farming community.

During the three-hour event, Rolling Forks welcomed more than 2,250 people to the winery for steak and eggs, vineyard tours surrounded by the beautiful Lake Minnewaska, and learning activities for all ages. It is the perfect day for a family outing.

“The Pope County Farm Bureau, the Wurst Machers crew and all the volunteers made the event overwhelmingly successful,” said Melanie Cihlar, co-owner of Rolling Forks Vineyard. “We were delighted to host such a meaningful and lively event.”

This year’s Breakfast on the Farm attracted representatives from 75 Minnesota communities and 13 states, including people from as far away as California, Massachusetts, Texas and even South Africa.

Thank you to the Minnesota Farm Bureau for allowing us to host the event and to everyone who attended!
