Step into our barrel room and embark on a journey of discovery led by our winemaker, Patricio. This isn’t just a tasting; it’s an intimate exploration into the art and tradition of Port wine.

Your experience will begin with a truly unique opportunity: savoring our own 5-year Solara port-style wine directly from the barrel. Taste the vibrant character, still evolving in its oak slumber, revealing nuances that can only be appreciated straight from its source. This rare barrel tasting offers a glimpse into the future of our finest fortified wine, a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship happening right here at our winery.

From there, we’ll transport your senses to the ancient, terraced vineyards of the Douro Valley in Portugal, the undisputed homeland of Port. You’ll then have the privilege of comparing our Solara to two classic expressions from this legendary region: a sophisticated Tawny Port and a rich Ruby Port. Patricio will expertly guide you through each pour, unveiling the distinct characteristics of each style. Lite bites will also be provided.
