Comedy | Specialty Dinners

In partnership with Minnewaska Showstoppers.
A Unique Valentine’s Weekend Experience in Central Minnesota.
Dust off your flapper dresses and fedoras and join us for a ’20s-style soiree at Rolling Forks Vineyards. The champagne will be flowing, the jazz will be jumping, and the secrets will be spilling at the annual Gatsby Gala. In an era of decadence and delight, the Gatsbys are known to throw the most elaborate and exquisite parties on West Egg, and this weekend will be no different. With society’s most notable and notorious set to attend, it is going to be a soiree to die for … Until someone actually does!
As the party progresses you will be asked to inspect, interrogate, and investigate in order to uncover the killer.
Will it be the savvy songbird with silver screen dreams?
A corrupt police chief who pulls strings in the city?
A dainty doll with a dangerous side?
Or maybe the bold Bruno who ends up in bracelets.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the best Valentine’s Day events in Minnesota for couples?
If you are looking for something more exciting than a standard dinner, our Gatsby Murder Mystery Dinner is one of Central Minnesota’s most unique Valentine’s experiences. It combines an immersive theater performance with a gourmet meal and award-winning wine, making it a top choice for couples traveling from the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and Fargo.
Is this a good Galentine’s Day idea for groups of friends?
Absolutely! While it’s a romantic date night, many of our guests attend as a Galentine’s Day outing. The 1920s theme is perfect for a girls’ night out, dressing up in flapper attire, and working together to solve the mystery. We recommend booking tickets together to ensure your group is part of the same “investigative team.”
What is the dress code for a 1920s Murder Mystery Dinner?
While not strictly required, dressing up is highly encouraged to enhance the experience! Think Great Gatsby—flapper dresses, feathered headbands, pearls, fedoras, and suspenders. We even award prizes for the “Best Dressed” guests!
How far is Rolling Forks Vineyards from Minneapolis and Fargo?
We are conveniently located in Glenwood, MN, making us an ideal weekend getaway destination. We are approximately a 2-hour drive from the Twin Cities and just under 2 hours from Fargo, ND. Many guests turn the event into a full Valentine’s weekend by staying at local resorts like Peters Sunset Beach.
Do I have to participate in the Murder Mystery?
Yes! Part of the fun is that everyone plays a role. You will receive your character assignment via email prior to the event. You can be as involved as you like—whether you want to be the center of attention or a quiet observer gathering clues, you’ll be an essential part of the story.
Are there dietary accommodations for the dinner?
