North Meets South: A Tale of Two Terroirs
Join us for an exclusive wine tasting and tour led by our head winemaker, Patricio. Originally hailing from the prestigious wine regions of Chile, Patricio brings a unique global perspective to our Minnesota vines.
In this guided tasting, we’ll put the “North” and “South” side-by-side. You’ll discover how the crisp, bold character of Minnesota’s cold-climate grapes contrasts—and converges—with the rich, sun-soaked traditions of Patricio’s homeland.
Patricio will pull back the curtain on the art of cold-climate winemaking, showing you exactly how we coax world-class flavors out of the Minnesota terroir. You’ll see where the magic happens—from the soil to the fermentation tanks. We’ll enjoy a guided flight comparing our estate-grown Minnesota wines with hand-selected Chilean varietals. Patricio will share personal stories of his journey from the Andes to the North Woods, explaining the fascinating differences in climate, soil, and technique that define these two distinct regions.
Vines of the Americas Tasting and Tour Experience:
- Guided Tour: Walk the vines and the cellar with a welcoming Chilean cocktail.
- A Curated Flight: Taste 8 hand-selected wines from both hemispheres, comparing profiles, climates, and winemaking techniques.
- Chilean-Inspired Pairings: Enjoy a selection of authentic “light bites” designed by Patricio to mirror the flavors of Chile, perfectly paired to elevate both local and international pours.
- Expert Insight: Hear firsthand stories from the cellar about the challenges and triumphs of making wine at opposite ends of the world.
